PVC vs TPU

PVC

  • stiffer and holds its shape when pressed
  • doesn't recover as fast
  • doesn't require a change of needle/adjust tension settings required for vinyl
  • gives good structure for bigger bags

TPU

  • softer and more flexible
  • recovers quickly when pressed
  • had to change needle/adjust tension settings. If not, it will result in nesting of thread
  • gives the bag a floppy, softer feel, more obvious when making bigger bags

Care Instructions

Washing in a machine is absolutely not recommended. A rag with warm soapy water is the best way to clean any dirt off the surface. Do not scrub too hard as it may scratch the surface.
